The raw material of these fasteners is classified as Duplex Stainless Steel. Being a PED certified Fasteners Manufacturer by TUV Rheinland,our fasteners are accompanied with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certification. Duplex 31803 Washers are available in hot forged,cold forged and bar stock machined conditions depending upon the order quantity.ALLOY 31803 is a chromium nickel molybdenum austenitic and ferritic grade. It has improved resistance to stress corossion cracking, piiting, crevice corrossion and high strengths in comparison to other stainless steel grades. It has very good oxidation resiatnce at high temperatures. However, it is prone to embrittlement at 475 Degree celcious if exposed for more than 2 hours. It is widely used in brewing , power generating equipments and wide varierty of marine and oil and gas applicants. It shows very good weldeabliity similar to ther stainless steels, however, it is not suitable for oxytelene arc welding as there is a possibillty of carbon pickup in the welded area.
