Hastelloy Fasteners Specification

Hastelloy Fasteners are nickel molybdenum chromium alloy fasteners with base of also known by the trade name Nickel-Chromium-moly Alloys. Hastelloy Fasteners are difficult to machine and hot roll threading is done to ensure 100% thread strength. It forms a passivation oxide layer once heated and hence used at wide range of elevated temperatures.
Applications: Hastelloy Fasteners are used for chemical processing industries, aerospace industries, oil and gas industries etc.

Hastelloy B2 Fasteners

Hastelloy B2 is a Nickel-molybdenum alloy with good resistance to reducing environments. Such as hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric, acetic, and phosphoric acids, Alloy B2 should be used in oxidising media or where oxidising contaminants are available in reducing media. Premature failure may occur if B2 is used where iron and copper is present in a system containing hydrochloric acid. It shows very good resistance to pitting.
