It covers Hastelloy Forging. These are classified into different grades according to chemical composition. A chemical analysis shall be employed employed on each alloy in order to determine its chemical composition. Grain size and mechanical properties like tensile strength, yield strength and elongation shall be measured. A tension test and ultrasonic tests shall be done for each specimen. values given in Inch-Pound shall be regarded as standard. The values given in paranthesis are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only.
