Ferralium Set Screws manufactured at TorqBolt are resistant to crevice corrosion and pitting with a combination of high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen. .Dimensional standards as per DIN 913, DIN 914, DIN 915, DIN 916, DIN 551, DIN 553, DIN 438 and BS 4168 are provided.
The raw material of these fasteners is classified as Duplex Stainless Steel . Being a PED certified Fasteners Manufacturer by TUV Rheinland,our fasteners are accompanied with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certification. Ferralium Set Screws are available in hot forged,cold forged and bar stock machined conditions depending upon the order quantity.Alloy 255 is a highly alloyed (ferrite-austenite) steel which provides superior corrosion resistance. It has various cost effective applications in chemical, metalurgical, sanitation, pollution contriol industry. Some of the features of alloy 255 are resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, chloride stress corrosion cracking, ductility, fabricability. It has twice the yeild of austenitic steels, and high fatigue strengths in marine environments. It is widely used in pumps, shafts, valves, down hole applications etc.
