Machine Bolts

Machine bolts are used to fasten wood to wood, wood to metal and metal to metal. Similar to a hex cap screw, a machine bolt will differ in these four ways: its point will not be chamfered or rounded; it will be available in larger sizes (diameters); it will not have an under head washer bearing surface; and it will be manufactured to less exacting standards. Depending on head style, machine bolts are also known as: hex bolts, square bolts. They are used with nuts and internally threaded (tapped) holes.

TorqBolt manufactures Machine Bolts via cold forging, hot forging and CNC machining. Sizes range from M1.0 to M100 (metric) and 1/16" to 4" (imperial). Available in coarse, fine, UNC, UNF, UN, BSW and acme threads with half, full or double-end thread configurations. Each Machine Bolts batch is supplied with EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 material test certificates.
