Hastelloy B2 Fasteners Specification
Hastelloy B2 is a Nickel-molybdenum alloy with good resistance to reducing environments. Such as hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric, acetic, and phosphoric acids, Alloy B2 should be used in oxidising media or where oxidising contaminants are available in reducing media. Premature failure may occure if B2 is used where iron and copper is present in a system containing hydrochlroric acid. It shows very good resistance to pitting.
