T nuts are used when machine threads are needed in wood for permanent installations. They allow lockdowns and reassembly. It has very distinct structure consist of a internally threaded barrel with three or four prongs outside adjecent to the barrel. prongs prevent the tee nut from rotating as the bolt is tightened.
