Inconel alloy 925 is a precipitation hardenable nickel iron chromium alloy with added molybdenum and copper. It has high strength and corrosion resistant properties as Inconel alloy 825. Alloy has excellent resistance to general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking in aqueous environments (Including those containing sulphides and chlorides). Used for surface and down-hole hardware in sour gas wells for oil production equipment.
