Ferralium Bolts manufactured at TorqBolt are resistant to crevice corrosion and pitting with a combination of high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen.Dimensional standards as per DIN 931, DIN 933, BS 1768, UNI 5731, UNI 5737, UNI 5739, ISO 4014, ISO 4017, BS 1769 and BS 3692 are provided.
The raw material of these fasteners is classified as Duplex Stainless Steel. Being a PED certified Fasteners Manufacturer by TUV Rheinland,our fasteners are accompanied with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certification. Ferralium Bolts are available in hot forged,cold forged and bar stock machined conditions depending upon the order quantity.Alloy 255 is a highly alloyed (ferrite-austenite) steel which provides superior corossion resistance. It has various cost effective applications in chemical, metalurgical, sanitation, pollution contriol industry. Some of the features of alloy 255 are resistance to pitting, crevice corossion, chloride stress corossion cracking, ductility, fabricability. It has twice the yeild of austenitic steels, and high fatigue strengths in marine environments. It is widely used in pumps, shafts, valves, down hole applications etc.
