S32950 Set Screws manufactured at TorqBolt are UNS equivalent of FERRALIUM 255, resistant to crevice corrosion and pitting with a combination of high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen. .Dimensional standards as per DIN 913, DIN 914, DIN 915, DIN 916, DIN 551, DIN 553, DIN 438 and BS 4168 are provided.
The raw material of these fasteners is classified as Duplex Stainless Steel . Being a PED certified Fasteners Manufacturer by TUV Rheinland,our fasteners are accompanied with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certification. S32950 Set Screws are available in hot forged,cold forged and bar stock machined conditions depending upon the order quantity.UNS 32950 is a high chromium content super duplex ( austenite – ferrite) stainless steel. It contains 26% to 29% of chromium content. It has very good resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting just like other super duplex stainless steel catagories. It has a high tensile strength of around 690 MPa and good yield strenth of about 485 Mpa. They are mainly used oil refining, fertilizer, paper making, petroleum and other chemical or sour industries.
