Incolloy Alloy 25-6MO is a super austenitic alloy. It has 6% molybdenum and it offers excellent resistance to corrosion for chlorides or other halides which are most commonly found in air pollution control systems and flue gas desulphurization systems. The molybdenum as well as nitrogen content present in this alloy provides resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Copper enhances resistance to sulphuric acid. It is suitable for services in high chloride environments such brackish water, sea water, caustic chlorides and pulp mill bleach system.
