Ferralium 255 FG46 Rings manufactured at TorqBolt are resistant to crevice corrosion and pitting with a combination of high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen.Dimensional standards as per DIN 471, DIN 472, DIN 5417, DIN 983, AS 568, BS 1806, ISO 3601 and DIN 3771 are provided.
The raw material of these fasteners is classified as Duplex Stainless Steel. Being a PED certified Fasteners Manufacturer by TUV Rheinland,our fasteners are accompanied with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certification. Ferralium 255 FG46 Rings are available in hot forged,cold forged and bar stock machined conditions depending upon the order quantity.Ferralium 255 FG46 is a high strength super duplex alloy with minimum of 0.2% proof stress of 720. It has corrosion resiatnce to variety of corrsives including sulphuric, phospheric and nitric acids. It als shows excelent ductillity and impact strength at ambient and subzero temperatures. In marine applications it shows critical pitting temperature exceeeding 40Degrees celcious. It shows high resistance to abrasion, erosion and cavitation erosion. It is used in rudders, shafts seals, pumps, valves, oil and chemical tankers.
